Mitzi is passionate about helping others improve their overall quality of life.
She worked with children and adults with various abilities for over five years as a special education teacher assistant and physical therapy assistant before transitioning to developmental optometry.
Mitzi thrives in a one-on-one therapy setting and is dedicated to making an everlasting impact on her patient’s lives. She has a talent for connecting with her patients and motivating them throughout their vision therapy program.
Her favorite part about being a vision therapist is when a patient realizes their true potential to reach their goals because of their progress in vision therapy.
In her spare time, Mitzi enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her three-year-old son, Christopher. Their favorite weekend activity is playing at the park.
The way she sees it: “Being of service to others is what brings true happiness.” -Marie Osmond
