Marcella is a master at helping patients learn about their visual system in order to use it in a more effective way and maximize their potential. She believes that vision therapy does not just happen to a person, but that the person is an active part of their growth and development which not only improves their vision but also helps the person realize their true capabilities. This is why she not only strives to connect with her patients on a personal level, but also works hard to help them connect the skills they develop in therapy to tasks they struggle with in every day life.
When not at CVD, you'll find Marcella working out, playing with her dogs, at the beach, and eating good food!
How she sees it: ” To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded.” ― Ralph Waldo Emerson
